Lille Europe train station is an important link in the French and European rail network. The Eurostar, Talys, TGV and local trains stop at this junction or the neighboring train station. Naturally, this brings large numbers of passengers with it. Bamboo UltraDensity® was chosen for the renovation of the station, which opened in 1994. The very durable and hard bamboo floorboards were used as flooring as well as a base material for the furniture.
