Vooruit, meaning “Onward” in English, is a central platform, a networking and meeting space for artists and organisations from different sectors in Ghent. With 350,000 visitors who come every year to experience theater, concerts, talks, dance, literature and more, the Arts Center wants to reinforces the cross-fertilization between the arts and the local and global community. Materials needed for the many performances and events can be made in the own workshop. The Bamboo UltraDensity® heavy duty flooring that was installed in this area meets the needs of a working space where heavy machinery has to be moved over the floors frequently.
